Connecting Children to Nature
Love spending time outdoors with the kids but don't have time to become Bear Grylls, loading up the car/cars with all the "necessary" equipment? Then spending hours working out how to put it all together only to spend more time working out how to put it all back.
We are two mums from West Sussex with three daughters between us.
Our camping journey began about five years ago.
We started off filling cars with everything including (to the amusement of our husbands) hairdryers and GHD's and after three hours of collapsing tent poles our husbands arrived answering the emergency camping call. Clearly this could not continue and whilst we were away we did some serious research.
The next girls weekend loomed and this time we had booked a safari tent (to the further amusement of our husbands).
It did cost a little more but oh how it was worth it. The stress reduction alone justified the cost.
We arrived and after a brief unpacking session we were glamping. Kids were swinging in the trees and the prosecco was chilling nicely in the fridge. Everyone enjoyed themselves and relaxed immediately.
