The Book

In the book we review the best Glamping sites on cleanliness, facilities, comfort, kids equipment, accommodation and price. We will also share with you the best pubs and restaurants we find in the area, particularly those in walking distance that are family friendly.  Our girls will also be sharing with you their thoughts on the site and will be reviewing all facilities themselves with a little help from friends they make on the way.

We will also be sharing with you some tasty recipes you can easily put together on a camp fire and some great dishes for the children to try.  Forget beans on toast and hot dogs, why not try home made curry, breakfast burritos and smiley face burgers for the kids. This is just to name a few.

We will also be including many different activities for you to do outside with the children so you can really explore nature at its best and get the best experience from your glamping trip. All tried and tested by our girls, of course! click here to see our Outdoor Activities page. All of which will be featured in more detail in our book.

We would love to hear your feedback on any of the glamping sites we review, and any of our recommended dishes you rustle up or any of the activities you decide to try.

We also would like to share all the great glamping accessories we have found a long the way. Click  our We Love page to see what glamping accessories we love!

Children and nature go together - or should. Recent studies document the importance of introducing children to the natural world, beginning in the early years. Their social, emotional, and physical health depends on this exposure to develop. Humans are hardwired to need nature—because we are part of it. In some communities, children lack access to nature and the freedom to explore local flora and fauna. How can children care about nature if they haven’t experienced it firsthand? Adults must do what they can to ensure that children have those opportunities.
